For well over a dozen years Celine Dion has been posted up in Vegas for her wildly successful residency, but she’s leaving the roost to hit the road in support of a new upcoming album.
Her Courage World Tour kicks off in September in her native Quebec.
"Courage" is also the name of a song off the album and at an event announcing the tour and record she explained why using that name felt right.
"We all go through a lot of things in life – whether it’s losing someone, whether it’s a sickness that we have to fight, something that life imposes on us," she told the crowd. "And I went through a lot. Life had given me the tools — my family, the way that I grew up, the way that I was raised, the way we all were raised in my family — to find my inner strength in a way. To find courage to keep going."
