Zachary Levi has the coveted, rare privilege of playing a super hero in Shazam!.
It’s the kind of role that requires an actor who checks a lot of boxes comedic chops, charm, good looks, physicality and more.
While Zachary wasn’t a household name before this movie, one of his good friends isn’t at all surprised he got the role, Mandy Moore, who starred in 2010’s animated Disney film Tangled with him.
She tells ET: "Levi always had it in him and was always a superhero in my mind. Maybe the world is just finally starting to take notice. I adore him. He's one of the most phenomenally talented gentlemen out there. He's a total sweetheart. I think he's tailor made to play a buff superhero."
Shazam hits theaters everywhere tomorrow.
