It’s approaching one year since the tragic passing of Tim Bergling,also known as Avicii, whose music inspired people worldwide and helped them through dark times, even a he struggled with depression himself.
Since Avicii was passionate about making a difference in his life with both his charity work and his music, his family has just announced they will keep his mission alive with the Tim Bergling Foundation.
Its primary focus for now will be on assisting those with mental health issues, as well as suicide prevention in his native Sweden and worldwide.
But in time, since Avicii was a passionate environmentalist, they will eventually tackle things like climate change and to help protect endangered species.
The Berglings say: “Starting a foundation in Tim’s name is a way to honor his memory and continue to act in his spirit.”
