Some observant fans noticed in Ariana Grande’s "7 Rings" music video that the date January 25th was semi-hidden on a license plate in Japanese.
There was hope that was the album release date for Thank U, Next and it turns out that isn’t the case, but there is good reason she included that date.
Because on the 25th, which is Friday, she will be unveiling the full tracklist and cover art for the album and begin taking pre-orders.
Ariana unveiled those plans and lots more in a flurry of tweets.
There will be no guest artists and no further singles ahead of the album, but the most potentially exciting news came when a fan hoped aloud that the album would arrive on her birthday, February 8th.
To which Ariana replied: "How convenient. So it looks like Ariana’s full album is just over 2 weeks away."
