Ryan Hilariously Tries Anne Hathaway’s Stress Relief Method

Everyone deals with stress differently, and if you’re Anne Hathaway, you burn that ‘ish! Tanya Rad shared with Ryan Seacrest on Friday, January 11, that the Oscar-winning actress has a fascinating way to dispel negative feelings and all you need is a pen, paper, timer and a flame.

Yes, fire is involved.

To rid herself of any negativity, the actress takes 12 minutes to expel all her troubles on the page before the timer goes off and she lights the piece of paper on fire.

“All of this energy, this angst, this rage — everything is smoke,” Hathaway explained to Town and Country magazine, revealing her method. “You spew it all out. You do not read it,” she said. “The timer goes off, you tear it out of the book, and you light it on fire.”

Of course, as also noted by Hathaway, “If you try the fire thing, please use common sense when burning your pages.”

Watch Ryan attempt the method above and poof!
