Lindsay Lohan is back! The actress has returned to reality TV and the spotlight after removing herself from the public eye. Lohan phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, January 9, and dished to Ryan Seacrest why she got into the club business and created VIP experience Lohan Beach House in Mykonos, Greece.
“I started five years ago when I opened Lohan in Athens and then I wanted to go to a beach location in Mykonos because I love the water and I found a really pretty beach and I wanted to do something in the day because Athens functions more in the night,” the Parent Trap alum explained, adding her new MTV reality series, Lindsay Lohan Beach Club, revolves around hiring staff from the States to help run her empire.
“A lot of it was based on what they’ve gone through in life and how they’ve overcome certain things,” Lohan said of the hiring process. “And then also where they work in nightlife and how much they can bring in.”
Lindsay Lohan Beach Club premiered on MTV on Tuesday, January 8, and the series promises major d-r-a-m-a with a glimpse at the luxe Mykonos life.
“It’s not easy [firing people],” she continued. “I like to give people second chances but there’s some lines that you just can’t cross, like talking about my family, taking their clothes off on the beach in public -- which happens -- you’ll see, eventually.”
