Since Dr. Oz makes a near daily habit out of advising the rest of us on how to live healthier lives, you would think he wouldn’t need to make his New Year’s resolution health-based.
But that’s not the case!
He actually is resolving to give more attention to his own personal well-being in 2019 and to be more forthcoming. He tells US Weekly:
"I think all of us have an obligation to speak more honestly with each other. Sometimes I sugar coat things. I don’t want to hurt people’s feelings, but I think I do them more harm sometimes by not telling them exactly what they should be thinking. They can disagree with what I’m saying, but I owe it to them to tell them that. I think all of us could do better at that."
Whatever you resolve to do in 2019, here’s to a happy and healthy new year!
