The Chainsmokers managed to paint a pretty clear picture with their lyrics to the 2017 hit "Paris."
In fact, it tells such a good story it’s becoming one on the big screen.
Author Mickey Rapkin, who wrote the book that Pitch Perfect was based on has been hired to adapt the song into a feature film with Alex Pall and Drew Taggart from The Chainsmokers serving as producers.
It will be the first project produced through their new production company, Kick the Habit, alongside Tri-Star.
There’s no hint of a release date yet, but Alex and Drew say they’re "beyond thrilled" the project is happening. Adding, "the age of being just musicians is over."
