Normani is pretty in pink on the cover of Paper Magazine’s newest digital issue.
Her solo career is ready to soar, but in the interview inside she acknowledges how lucky she feels she was able to get her start with the companionship of her sisters in Fifth Harmony.
She says, "There's just something special being able to call something ours versus just yours. Everything that I went through in the group, and everything that we went through together, prepared us to be able to do what we're doing right now. That process was necessary for me to be in the position to have the knowledge that I do moving forward, and being able to apply what I've learned from then to my career now. It was crucial. I needed that."
