She’s here! Hilary Duff has welcomed a daughter with boyfriend Matthew Koma. The actress announced the happy news via Instagram on Monday, October 29, revealing her little girl was born on Thursday.
“Banks Violet Bair ❤️ this little bit has fully stolen our hearts!” Duff wrote across an adorable family photo. “She joined our world at home on Thursday afternoon and is absolute magic ✨.”
The exciting news comes after Duff revealed via Instagram she was expanding her family. The mom of Luca, 6, announced she was expecting just one day after older sister Haylie Duff announced she had given birth to her second child, Lulu Rosenberg.
"Guess what guys! @matthewkoma and I made a little princess of our own and we couldn't be more excited!!!!!!” she shared at the time.
The Younger actress previously told On Air With Ryan Seacrest that she really wanted a girl.
“I was so nervous beforehand because I thought for sure I was going to have a boy,” she explained at the time while discussing her gender reveal party. “I have a boy already, which would have been great, and I’m obsessed with Luca, but I just wanted one of each. It was funny that I cared so much. My sister has girls and I feel like I’m really girly, but for the past 6 years I’ve bought like monsters and trucks and planes and Luca is into all the boy stuff so everything is blue and green and I was just like ready for pink and purple stuff.”
