“I do intermittent naps through the day if I can and I’m one of those people that can kind of sleep anywhere,” Hemsworth, who stars in Bad Times at the El Royale, shared. “I can sleep under a table in the middle of a set … and that gets me through and obviously the coffee and usual business, but if I can roll up a jacket and lie on my back for 10 or 15, I’m good to go.”
The dad of three however doesn’t fall asleep as easily all the time.
“I have a lot of trouble falling asleep when it’s time to go to sleep,” he added. “But like not time — during the day — not a problem. I’m like a small baby.”
And this hunk of a “small baby” is likely in need of a nap: The Aussie is not only currently filming for a bevy of other movies right now, he’s now on the promo tour for latest flick Bad Times at the El Royale.
“I read a lot of scripts … and my immediate reaction [to Bad Times at the El Royale] was ‘How do I get ahold of the offer?’” Hemsworth shared of the Drew Goddard thriller, which also stars Dakota Johnson, Jon Hamm and Jeff Bridges.
“It feels like a 60s noir thriller,” he added of the film, which is set in 1969 and follows seven strangers who each are hiding dark secrets that come to a head on one night in a shady hotel on the California-Nevada border.
