Out of all the artists throughout the entire history of pop music The Beatles might be considered the most influential and important, quite literally ever.
But Paul McCartney says despite that, John Lennon worried about his legacy and reputation. Paul recounted to CBS News:
"I remember him once particularly strangely, out of the blue, saying, ‘I worry about how people are going to remember me.’ And I was like, ‘John listen to me, look at me. You’re going to be remembered as one of the greatest people.'"
But even Paul struggles with self-doubt to this day. He adds: "I think if you care about what you’re doing, if you really want to get it right, then you’ve got to deal with insecurities. It’s what makes it right."
Paul’s new album Egypt Station is out now.
