Ed Sheeran has been one of the most popular artists on the planet for a while now and it appears that he’s actually grown even more popular, because of the staggering growth of his Divide Tour.
If you look at Ed’s shows in the New York metropolitan area from last fall, he raked in a very healthy $3.7 million over 3 nights.
But if you compare that to his New York area shows late last month where he earned an incredible $11.2 million from just 2 shows the growth is pretty obvious.
And that goes for all of his stops. He’s gone from playing sold out basketball arenas to jam packed football stadiums.
Ed is very close to grossing $300 million over all and with 39 dates still to go he should end his run as one of the most profitable tours of the decade.
