Rave reviews are pouring in for the Bradley Cooper-helmed remake of A Star Is Born starring Lady Gaga.
The film focuses on both the good and bad ways becoming a celebrity transforms people and at the film’s premiere at the Toronto International Film Festival Gaga talked to the audience about her own journey.
"Fame is very unnatural," she says. "The truth is, people think we change. It's not us that change, it's everyone around us who changes."
Adding: "I just feel lucky to be here. I'm an east coast Italian American from New York who dreamed of being an actress, and I didn't make it, and so I gave up and pursued singing."
A Star Is Born is in theaters October 5th.
