Troye Sivan’s second album Bloom is finally out and critics have been remarking how refreshingly honest and personal it feels.
And that’s no mistake.
In a new interview with Them magazine, Troye explains that was his primary goal.
"I wanted to write music that didn't feel fake. I live in this very particular, surreal world,” he says. "For me this is my real life and being able to celebrate these things and talk about these things, and just be open and honest was my goal. I wrote this album for me and my friends."
