Mac Miller had a tumultuous spring including a high profile breakup with Ariana Grande, but he followed it up by releasing Swimming earlier this month.
This is the most critically acclaimed album of his career, which he managed to make by no longer listening to outside opinions.
He tells Rolling Stone that there’s people that say they like his old music better and others that wish he would just rap and not sing or sing and not rap. This is confusing to Mac.
"You might as well just figure out yourself what you wanna do," he says.
Adding: "I’ve been in the tabloids so much randomly recently that I’ve realized that I just don’t care what people think of me."
