Vanna White and Ryan Hilariously Resolve That Nelly Lyric

Flasback Friday! Vanna White phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, August 3, to surprise Meghan Murray, the woman who lost LIVE With Kelly and Ryan’s dance travel trivia question earlier this week, and Vanna and Seacrest took a minute to clarify that epic lyric in Nelly’s 2000 hit “Ride Wit Me.”

In case you missed it, Ryan helped make a Traverse City, Michigan, couple’s day on Tuesday, July 31, after Meghan was LIVE With Kelly and Ryan’s Dance Travel Trivia contestant on Tuesday, but failed to answer the question right and missed out on winning the trip. Meghan explained on LIVE that her husband is battling an inflammatory digestive disease and is on the mend after having his colon removed, leaving him unable to work and them in dire need of a trip to take their minds off reality. Because they weren’t able to give her the trip on LIVE due to the rules, Seacrest took it into his own hands to surprise her on-air with a trip to LA!

“You never know who is going to be listening, have you heard of the show Wheel of Fortune?” Seacrest asked Meghan before surprising her again on-air on Friday, August 3, with Vanna White herself, who had been listening and wanted to invite Meghan and her husband to a taping of Wheel of Fortune while they’re in town.

Meghan gladly accepted Vanna’s invite and Ryan then brought up the epic Nelly track.

In the track, which appeared on Nelly’s 2000 debut album, Country Grammar, he raps: "Can I make it? Damn right, I be on the next flight / Payin' cash; first class — sittin' next to Vanna White.”

“I ran into him at a party and I asked him ‘Did we sit next to each other on a flight?’” Vanna hilariously recalled to Ryan. “And he said, ‘No but it rhymed!’”

Listen back to the fun moment above.
