Ariana Grande received some level of criticism for including a song called "Pete," dedicated to her fiancé, on her upcoming album Sweetener.
But rather than buckle under any pressure she is doubling down by changing the song title at the last minute from "Pete" to "Pete Davidson."
She explained her decision on Twitter, writing:
"I like the way it looks. I love his name and I love him. Music lasts forever. It’ll outlive any tattoo, any memory, any anything, even myself so I want my love for him and how I feel to be a part of that."
Sweetener arrives August 17th.
