Niall Horan is living his best life. The former One Direction band member is performing across the globe on his Flicker World Tour and shared with Ryan Seacrest when he phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, July 31, that he remmebers to take time onstage to reflect on how far he’s come.
“I had a bit of a realization moment the other night,” Horan shared. “I was sitting there playing the piano and I was singing these lyrics that I spent hours writing … and then I’m in Mexico City or Buenos Aries and they’re singing my lyrics back in a language that they don’t speak as their first language. I was like ‘Whoa.’”
The “Slow Hands” singer, 24, is also enjoying seeing various ages in the crowds, ranging from teens to parents in their 40s, 50s and 60s.
“I’m playing venues that really suit my music … and I’ve been able to get out and see the cities I’ve been in,” he added. “When I set out to make this album … I wanted to teach the younger generation of the stuff that was of the ‘70s and stuff like that and obviously bring in the newer crowd, but it’s quite the treat. This has been a great year for me.”
As he makes his way back to California to perform in Los Angeles, Horan teased that LA concert goers will get a few surprises here and there.
