With what seems like everyone around him settling down, is Derek Hough ready to get engaged to longtime girlfriend Hayley Erbert? The Emmy-winning dancer stopped by On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, July 10, to chat about his first-ever solo dance tour, Derek Hough Live! The Tour, and Ryan got an update on his love life.
“I have a few hairs on my chest now!” Hough, 33, joked to Ryan while talking about his latest endeavor. “No, no, I don’t.”
Being the only boy of the Hough family though, which consists of four girls including sister Julianne Hough, Ryan asked if he ever thinks about settling down himself with girlfriend of three years Hayley.
“Yeah, sometimes. Sometimes,” Derek mused. “But you know what’s funny? There’s so many people getting engaged and married in my circle [right now] and I’m just letting them enjoy that so my time will come. We’ll see when it happens.”
For now, he’s focusing on gearing up for the tour, which will kick off after World of Dance in 2019.
“It is a rock concert for dance and what’s really exciting about this show, this tour, is I’m going to have live musicians,” Derek shared. “Because in the past, when we do these dance shows, we’re just dancing and … for me, I missed that live music element in having the musicians there on stage with us infused with the dancing. … It’s going to be incredible … I can’t wait to get out there.”
