Meghan Markle’s dad is coming for Queen Elizabeth II. In an interview with TMZ, Markle’s dad, Thomas, slams the Queen for putting him in the “penalty box” after he gave a lengthy and candid interview about his daughter and Prince Harry with Good Morning Britain.
In his interview with Good Morning Britain, Thomas talked about everything from the royal wedding to Markle wanting children ASAP. Now, according to Thomas, he’s being punished for it.
"If the Queen is willing to meet our arrogant and insensitive president she has no excuse not to meet me," Thomas told TMZ, adding that he hasn’t talked to anyone from the palace or his daughter since his interview. "I’m nowhere near as bad."
The latest drama comes after Thomas failed to make his way to England for the royal wedding this past May after suffering a series of health conditions. He’s also been in hot water over selling produced pap photos.
Drama aside, the former Suits actress is settling in perfectly with the royal family. After trying the knot on May 19, she’s accompanied the Queen and her husband on numerous appearances and most recently joined the royal family at the Royal Ascot in Ascot, United Kingdom.
Prince Harry is currently without Duchess Markle on a charity trip. The new Duke of Sussex visited local children at the Phelisanong Children’s Centre in Lesotho, part of work undertaken by his charity, Sentebale.
