Diddy Reveals the Most Normal Thing He Does and It’s So Relatable

Diddy is a man of many talents, but he still gets that “Are you still watching?” Netflix reminder on his TV like the rest of us 😂 The rapper and entrepreneur phoned into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Tuesday, June 5, to talk season 2 of The Four and admitted during the chat that yes, he too binge-watches TV.

“I binge watch a lot of Netflix,” Diddy told Ryan when asked what the “most normal” thing he does is. “I binge-watch a lot of documentaries. I like Billions … I love binge-watching American Idol.”

Speaking of Idol, the Grammy winner shared with Ryan that he wanted to create a show like Idol with The Four to give all artists a chance.

"The music industry has had a resurgence,” Diddy explained. “Seeing what you guys are doing with American Idol and what they’re doing with The Voice, I didn’t want to duplicate greatness, I wanted to come in and add something fresh. I felt like hip-hop and urban music really didn’t have a voice,” he added. “I felt like every [genre] should have an even playing field … I wanted to create something … to add to the greatness that’s out there with the other competition shows … All of these shows give people from all walks of life, from all areas, from all countries, an opportunity that they wouldn’t normally get.”

Listen back to the full interview above and catch the season 2 premiere of The Four on Fox on Thursday, June 7, at 8 p.m.
