Taylor Swift and Joe Alwyn Step Out for Rare Day Date

Taylor Swift took a break from her epic Reputation stadium tour to spend some quality time with her boyfriend, Joe Alwyn, in London earlier this week. The songstress has a few days off before returning back to the stage for a show in Chicago on June 2.

The "Delicate" singer and British actor opted for a lunch date at The Flash, which is described as a traditional pub.

According to E! News, The Flash is one of Alwyn’s “favorite places and a place he loves to go.”

The site reports that the lovebirds ordered traditional fish and chips along with a pint of London Pride beer.

The duo, who have been dating for almost a year, stay relatively out of the spotlight. Joe first publicly supported Swift at iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball in New York City this past December. They’ve also since been photographed on hikes in Malibu and Swift has given Alwyn subtle shoutouts during her Reputation stadium tour shows, specifically while singing track “Gorgeous.”

Swift dedicated the song to him during her tour kick-off in Glendale, Arizona, in May, reportedly pointing directly at Alwyn in the VIP section of the audience at the end of the performance. At the time, a fan tweeted: “Y’all I was literally in between them and Taylor was winking and pointing and Joe was blushing and videoing her so much and I just really felt the love and sexual tension on a whole other level for 2 entire hours #reptourglendale”

The fan also shared a video of Joe supporting Swift in the audience, dancing and clapping while trying to keep a low profile in a baseball cap.

The couple were first reported to be dating in May 2017 following her split from Tom Hiddleston. They first crossed paths at the Met Gala in 2016 while Swift was still dating ex Calvin Harris.
