The actress opened up to InStyle magazine about everything from parenting her three kids to postpartum workouts and while talking about making mistakes as a parent, admitted that she has a bad habit she should probably squash, but her kids think its funny.
“I make [mistakes] all the time! I have this terrible habit: Whenever my kids ask me to find something, they’re like, ‘Mom, where’s my …’ you know, backpack, toothbrush, whatever,” Alba said. “And I just say, ‘Up your butt,’ and that’s probably bad parenting. But they got to a certain age where I’m like, ‘That’s where it is: It’s up your butt.’”
Alba is mom to Hayes and daughters Honor, 9, and Haven, 6, with husband Cash Warren.
While her parenting decisions might not be for all, her bounce-back post-baby body is being praised by her social media followers. The Fantastic Four actress has kept it real on social media, documenting her struggle through workouts as she attempts to shed the baby weight.
“That s--t is hard,” Alba admits of working out post-baby. “For me, it’s more about posting what I’m really going through. Working out is not easy, but I’m doing it. I’m dropping a name here, but I was with Kate Hudson, and she’s so fit! And I was like, ‘You work out every day?’ And she said, ‘Of course I do.’ I was just like, ‘F--k, man, she doesn’t even question it, so I shouldn’t question it either.’”
