Christina Aguilera will finally end her six year drought between albums when Liberation arrives in two weeks.
That time away from music has been hard for her fans, but it has also been challenging for Christina herself. She tells Entertainment Weekly:
"I kind of felt like I was asleep at the wheel and going in autopilot for the past few years, not living up to my full potential and the purpose of why I’m living on this Earth: to sing and make music. So I’m getting back to that and getting back to my own personal truth. It’s almost like a new shedding of skin."
That’s exactly why she’s calling her album Liberation, it’s out everywhere June 15th.
