Becca Kufrin has found her prince charming! The season 14 Bachelorette revealed to People magazine ahead of the May 28 premiere that she’s engaged to one of her 28 suitors.
“I am engaged!” Kufrin, 28, told the mag in this week’s issue, on stands Friday. “It was the happiest moment of my life. And it feels so good to say it. I still pinch myself, like, did that all just happen? It’s been a whirlwind.”
The engagement comes just five months after Kufrin got engaged to former Bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. only to be dumped on national television when the race car driver revealed he still had feelings for runner-up Lauren Burnham. After the devastating moment aired, Luyendyk Jr. and Burnham then got engaged on After the Final Rose in March.
“I went through the grieving process,” Kufrin said of her split from Luyendyk Jr. “I was confused and angry and all the emotions you go through a heartbreak with.”
Fast-forward a couple of months though and Kufrin’s search for love has ended.
“I’m so excited to start this season and for everyone to see everything that happened,” she added of hew fiancé. “It’s been crazy, but it was so worth it.”
