Tanya's Take: My Trick to Getting Rid of a Zit Fast!

Tanya Rad here! Have you ever found yourself waking up with a fatty zit on your face? Well, I have a tried-and-tested trick to squash that blemish overnight.

As Ryan pointed out on-air, yes, I wore a massive bandaid on my chin into the studio on Wednesday because I woke up with a zit.  But just a few hours later, it was gone thanks to 2 simple medicine cabinet staples: Hydrogen peroxide and neosporin.

Here's what you do:

Using a cotton ball, dab some hydrogen peroxide on the area. Hydrogen peroxide helps combat bacteria, giving the blemish a chance to heal.

Because hydrogen peroxide has a drying effect on the skin, follow up with neosporin, which not only prevents your skin from drying, but also aids in being an antibiotic ointment.

The bandaid was primarily used as a coverup. If you can, allow the affected area to "breathe" instead, which will also speed up the healing process.
