It would be almost impossible to calculate how many newlyweds’ first dances have been to one of Adele's songs.
However, you can count how many couples have been serenaded by Adele herself for their first dance and married by her: One.
BBC talk show host Alan Carr married his partner Paul in January, but he waited until now to reveal Adele was their officiant, wedding planner and performer.
Carr says it was absolutely amazing, adding: “I can never repay her. But she’s a one-off. As we all know she’s just the best.”
