Selena Gomez is living her best life despite the recent The Weeknd and Justin Bieber drama. The 25-year-old “Wolves” songstress has been regularly taking classes with friends at West Hollywood workout Hot Pilates.
In a series of photos posted by her "Monday squaaaad" Shannon Nadj and Theresa Marie Mingus, the songstress looks happier than ever after getting her sweat on in a pair of black workout shorts and a white crop T-shirt.
Theresa also shared a video of Selena belting out Lion King tunes post workout.
“This was my car ride all day 🤦♀️ @selenagomez,” she captioned the video in which Selena goofs off in the car.
The gal pals ended their day with a pajama party. Gomez and Mingus joined friends Paigey Reed and Rebeka Walters and snapped pics all dressed in matching pink PJ sets.
Their fun-filled day comes on the heels of Selena’s ex-boyfriend The Weeknd making headlines with the release of his EP My Dear Melancholy. In track “Call Out My Name,” The Weeknd hints he was almost Selena’s kidney donor.
"We found each other / I helped you out of a broken place / You gave me comfort / But falling for you was my mistake,” he sings “… I said I didn’t feel nothing baby, but I lied / I almost cut a piece of myself for your life.”
According to reports though, the Grammy winner was never going to be her donor.
"It's just a lyric and he knew it would strum up attention and that people would interpret it exactly as they have, but he was never actually going to donate his kidney to Selena," Entertainment Tonight reports. "Sure, he was her boyfriend at the time, so it perhaps crossed his mind to get tested to see if he was a match -- which is incredibly rare -- but it never got anywhere close to actually happening."
