After being nominated by her husband, a mom of three named Edith finally got the “me time” she deserves — and courtesy to none other than stylists to the stars Ted Gibson, Jason Backe and Kip Zachery.
It all started three months ago as part of KIIS FM’s annual #KIISMASGiving when Edith’s husband nominated his wife and shared with Ryan on-air that Edith had set aside her pampering to keep up with the everyday struggle of family bills.
In the spirit of giving back, we helped Edith and her family get through the holiday and also offered Edith a day to herself — alongside Angelina Jolie, Lupita Nyong'o, and Anne Hathaway’s go-to hair stylist team Ted Gibson and Jason Backe and makeup artist Kip Zachary, whose clients include Caitlyn Jenner and Ariel Winter.
Edith’s grown-out highlights got the complete transformation: Ted chopped off more than six inches of her hair to kick off the makeover before Jason began whipping up the color.
He applied one formula to her new growth and a second to her middle parts before having her process for 35 minutes. After a shampoo and quick dry, the real magic began. Jason highlighted her whole head for a "Cindy Crawford brunette” and left Ted with a fresh color to shape ...
