Camila Cabello has the biggest hit of her career and one of the biggest by any female artist in recent years with "Havana."
Its popularity ended up causing a seismic shift in what Camila’s debut album ended up sounding like. As fans know the album was originally to be titled The Hurting. The Healing. The Loving and had a much darker tone.
But her producer Louis Bell tells MTV the success of "Havana" made her feel more liberated, adding:
"It put her in a better mood overall, and I think that helped give the album a great contrast, so it didn't move too far in one direction."
Camila’s debut album Camila, which includes the single "Havana" is out now.
