Why Childish Gambino's Tour Announcement Was Everything

Childish Gambino is hitting the road for a string of North American tour dates starting in his hometown of Atlanta on September 6.

The announcement is important for two reasons:

For starters, it will most likely be your last chance to see Donald Glover perform under the Childish Gambino moniker, as he plans to retire the name.

And it also gives us a probable timeline for when he will release the last Childish Gambino album, as this tour will almost definitely be in support of it.

So look for his final album by summer’s end.
