It’s official! Becca Kufrin will be the next Bachelorette! Chris Harrison made the announcement during the season 22 After the Final Rose special on Tuesday, March 6.
"This is crazy!" Becca said after host Chris announced the news. "I have some big shoes to fill, that's for sure. I want to be the best damn Bachelorette I can be. So I'm so excited. I want to find love. I want to meet so many amazing guys. I'm just ready to do this!"
The crowning comes after Becca suffered the most devastating and shocking Bachelor breakup ever. During the season 22 finale, bachelor Arie Luyendyk Jr. proposed to Becca in Peru with a stunning 4-carat oval diamond only to dump her weeks later for runner-up Lauren Burnham.
Chris Harrison — and the rest of America and Bachelor Nation — agreed that picking Becca as the next Bachelorette was an “easy decision.”
"It was easy, too, honestly, once I got past the initial heartbreak," Becca said of accepting the exciting new opportunity. "At the end of the day, the show is about finding love. That's all I want to do. I have so much love to give. So hard yes, all-around!"
