French fashion house Céline is selling plastic bags for $762 and the internet can’t handle it. The pricy grocery store bag, which usually costs a 10 cent minimum charge at grocery stores, made it’s official debut in October 2017 on the runway during Celine’s Spring/Summer '18 show at Paris Fashion Week and is now available for retail.
The plastic bag — or purse — is transparent and features the brand name on it in black with a warning label printed in four different languages that reads “to avoid danger as suffocation keep away this bag from babies and children."
Shoppers in the U.S. can get their hands on the clear accessory by shopping at the pop-up shop at Nordstorm in Seattle, Washington.
