If you caught the Super Bowl LII, then you likely witnessed Justin Timberlake’s epic halftime performance which made headlines for a variety of reasons -- including that teen with the braces who captured a selfie with the “Man Of the Woods” singer mid-performance.
The teen is 13-year-old Ryan McKenna and his reaction to Justin Timberlake dancing in the crowd hilariously went viral on Twitter with people joking about what Ryan was looking at on his phone.
According to the Pioneer Press, Ryan wasn’t unimpressed or unfazed, he was just trying to capitalize on the moment.
"I just thought to myself, ‘I’ll never get this opportunity again in my whole life,'” Ryan said, explaining that he was recording a video when he went to switch it to photo mode. “I just went for it.”
“My phone is almost dead. I’ve gotten so many notifications," he added after the fact. "I’ve got like 36 Snapchats, like 21 DMs, and like 150 follower requests on Instagram.”
