Last week Donald Glover (A.K.A. Childish Gambino) signed a new deal with RCA Records, even though he had said last year he planned on making his next Childish Gambino record his last one.
Many fans assumed this signaled a change of heart, but Donald just made it clear the plan remains the same.
"I stand by what I said. I’m really appreciative of all the success and I’m making another Gambino album right now," he says. "But I like endings, I think they’re important to progress."
Adding: "I think ending are good because they force things to get better."
Childish Gambino may be retiring, but judging by Donald’s album deal and immense creativity another music project will come down the pipes eventually.
