If you’re a fan of Justin Bieber’s then you know he’s credited faith for keeping himself on the right track and his success is in part due to LA-based Zoe Church pastor Chad Veach’s inspiring services. Chad has become a close companion of Bieber’s and other celebs including Selena Gomez and Kourtney Kardashian after sharing his own life story and how faith brought him light in darkness.
Chad learned in 2012 that his daughter Georgia has a rare brain condition, reducing her expected life span to about 10 years. The condition, called Lissencephaly (also known as “smooth brain”) causes the brain to fail to develop its fold structures.
He opened up about his daughter’s diagnosis in book Unreasonable Hope and during services reflects on how his little girl’s illness brought him a deeper relationship with God, inspiring the likes of Bieber and others.
“People want hope,” Chad shared with Ryan of his popular service. “Hopefully we are encouraging people … to move forward from whatever they’ve gone through, whatever they face. I think people want … peace so we are doing our best to just encourage people to lift their heads and let them know the best is in front of them.”
“I think at the end of the day one of our missions is everybody gets a shot at hearing the good news no matter who you are,” he continued. “When you come in, we are going to give you a fair shot at hearing the message we are here to preach.”
Tanya Rad has also been enlightened by Chad’s services and has shared her experience on-air throughout the years. Listen to the full interview above with Ryan and Chad to hear more of what drew her to Zoe Church.
