Meghan Markle fits right in with the royal family. Breaking tradition yet again, Prince Harry’s fiancée spent Christmas with Queen Elizabeth, Prince Philip, Prince William and Duchess Kate and blended right in.
“She really enjoyed it,” Prince Harry said during his special edition of Radio 4’s Today program on Wednesday, December 27. “The family loved having her there.”
The holiday also marked the first time Meghan was photographed alongside Duchess Kate while the family walked to church. Meghan was also photographed debuting the perfect curtsy when she greeted Queen Elizabeth.
“There’s always that family part of Christmas [where] there’s always that work element there as well, and I think together we had an amazing time,” Prince Harry continued. “We had great fun staying with my brother and sister-in-law and running round with the kids. Christmas was fantastic.”
The couple, who announced their engagement just weeks ago, stayed with William and Kate and spent quality time with their kids, 4-year-old Prince George and 2-year-old Princess Charlotte.
“She’s done an absolutely amazing job,” Prince Harry concluded of his future bride. “She’s getting in there and it’s the family that I suppose she’s never had.”
