Lenny Kravitz is finally breaking his silence on that one time he split his leather pants right down the middle and exposed himself in front of thousands of fans.
In a new interview with Mr Porter, the iconic singer/songwriter recalled when he was performing “Fly Away” and he bent down towards the crowd, splitting his leather pants and exposing himself to the crowd at the Grona Lund amusement park.
“Do I have any underwear on now? No. Thus the problems that I incur,” he told Mr Porter while recalling the incident.
“I didn’t rip them. They became ripped. It was fine. But it was a little cold in Sweden," he joked. "I would’ve warmed it up a little, had I known.”
While Lenny still rocks leather pants from time to time, he told Mr Porter that he’s “over the whole fashion thing” now that he lives simply on the island of Eleuthera in the Bahamas.
“On the island, I wash my clothes with a hose,” he said. “I have a bottle of Dr. Bronner’s soap, almond. I wash my body with it, I wash my clothes with it. And then I put them on a rock to dry.”
