Seth Meyers Jokes With Ryan About Using His Pregnant Wife as a DD

No Uber needed here! Seth Meyers called into On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Wednesday, December 13, and joked about using his pregnant wife, Alexi Ashe, as his designated driver. 

The topic came up while discussing the late-night host’s upcoming 44th birthday. 

“We will take my son to New Mexico, which is where my wife’s family lives, and my wife and I will have one night alone where her parents watch him,” Seth shared of his plans. 

“I think because my wife will be around six months pregnant, silence,” he joked of the evening’s soundtrack. “We are going to try to put some silence [on].”

That said, Seth still plans on celebrating with a drink or two. The funnyman joked that his wife tends to be his designated driver even when she's not pregnant. 

“Even when my wife’s not pregnant, she’s not that big of a drinker, and I certainly haven’t slowed down based on that,” he joked. “Even without child she has been the designated driver for many of our nights out -- many of our most romantic nights out.”
