An angry wife forced the Qatar Airways flight she was traveling on to make an emergency landing on Sunday after she discovered mid-flight that her husband was allegedly cheating on her.
According to reports, the woman, an Iranian national, was flying from Doha to Bali with her husband and child when she used her sleeping husband’s finger to unlock his fingerprint-protected phone and discovered that he was allegedly having an affair.
The India's Hindustan Times reported Tuesday that the wife started to hit her husband and that after failing to calm her down, flight attendants informed the pilot and the pilot decided to make an unscheduled stop in the southern Indian city of Chennai.
The couple and their child were then escorted off the plane.
