The artwork for Maroon 5’s new album Red Pill Blues features selfies of all the guys in the group rocking Snapchat filters like flower crowns and puppy dog ears.
It turns out there’s no hidden meaning in the decision, it’s really just a sign of the times. Adam Levine explains to Billboard:
“We all use Snapchat and its filters have become a huge part of the culture. So we thought it would be funny to take straight-ahead ‘cool’ band photos and sprinkle in a little fun.”
