Actor Joey Kern wrote, directed and stars in the new comedy Big Bear about a guy that still goes on his doomed bachelor party weekend even though his fiancée has just dumped him.
It turns out it isactually based on Joey’s real life where he did just that.
So did he ever have that awkward conversation with his ex about turning their breakup into a movie?
"No, because the film is really about me and how having my own bachelor party even though the engagement had broken off, even was embarrassing, it was exactly what I needed at the time to make myself better," he says.
