Ever wondered what a weekend with Jared Leto is like? Well, now is your chance! The Thirty Seconds to Mars frontman chatted with On Air With Ryan Seacrest on Friday, August 4, about the third annual Camp Mars coming up on August 12 - August 14. The Oscar winner also teased that he may have new music coming soon.
“Camp Mars is a music festival … think a mini Coachella,” Leto shared. “It’s an adult summer camp … there’s yoga, archery, meditation, speakers, great food. … We play acoustic songs, old songs and new songs.”
Leto, who will be performing at the iHeart Radio Music Festival in Las Vegas in September, explained that camp attendees can make the weekend as rural or fancy as they want.
“It’s super, super intimate,” Leto added. “You can have it be fancy … or you can sleep in a tent or you can come just for the day … we make it flexible so everyone has a chance.”
You might even hear new music as Leto hinted they’ve been working on new material.
“We may or may not have new music coming any day now,” he said. “We haven’t announced anything yet … if I get my ass in gear and finish this song it could be out really soon.”
