A striking photo Selena Gomez released for her single "Bad Liar" made headlines, because of the bandage and hospital bracelet she is wearing on her wrist.
Well, Selena has just revealed that wasn’t art direction, it was real life.
She had just received treatment for her Lupus, when she met up with photographer Petra Collins for the shoot, who encouraged her to keep on the evidence from her hospital visit.
Selena explains to MTV: "It was a very real moment and exactly where I was emotionally. It symbolizes what the song is and where I am personally."
