Watch Hailee Steinfeld Freak Out Over Wrong 'Most Girls' Lyric

Hailee Steinfeld blessed the world Friday morning with another empowering single in the same vein as her debut single "Love Myself," but this time she's out with a liberating anthem that speaks to women from all walks of life.

Her new single "Most Girls" -- produced by OneRepublic's Ryan Tedder, Zach Skelton, and One Love -- is tinged with celestial beats and celebrates the female hustle and diverse mindset, with the inclusion of lyrics like, "Most girls are smart and strong and beautiful / Most girls work hard, go far, we are unstoppable / Most girls, our fight to make every day / No two are the same / I wanna be like, I wanna be like most girls."

As Haiz stans continue to familiarize themselves with the surefire bop and search lyrics for maximum singalong confidence, some people are scratching their heads at the line, "Some girls, every day searching, keep the big." Under the impression that "keep the big" is a new millennial slang Steinfeld is trying to launch, Ryan and Sisanie read the baffling lyric to Steinfeld, who was also confused by the misprint.

"Keep the what?! What?!" she laughed, then proceeded to freak out, thinking her vocal delivery is causing a misheard lyric phenomenon. "I was like, it's pretty self-explanatory but what are you saying? No, that's not the lyric! That is not what it sounds like, is it? I got to go back, I got to change it!"

She added, "It's totally 'keep the page turning!' I feel like I'm a stickler about that, too. I need people to understand me!"

Also during her in-studio appearance, Haiz revealed how she relates to most girls, especially like the ones who flake on their own workout plans and rock gym clothes all day every day: "I wake up some mornings and I feel like [gym clothes] will be the motivation that gets me to the gym or to workout, even. So I put on some cute workout clothes, I feel great, whatever, and a whole day goes by and I don't really workout!"

Don't be fooled, though. When Steinfeld makes a commitment, she follows through. The 20-year-old -- who was nominated for an Oscar for her supporting role in 2010's True Grit -- recently wrapped up Universal Pictures' Pitch Perfect 3, the wildly successful a cappella comedy that also stars Anna Kendrick, Rebel Wilson, and Elizabeth Banks.

"That movie just does not feel like work. You're singing and dancing in these crazy locations that are just amazing. Everything about it is awesome," she said. "And it's crazy to think about how much time went by between the second and now the third one; a couple years but we picked up right where we left off as if no time has passed!"

Pitch Perfect 3 opens on December 22, but fans can get their Haiz fix by purchasing "Most Girls" on iTunes here. She will also perform at KIIS FM's Wango Tango on May 13 at the StubHub Center in Carson, California. The show will also see performances by Katy Perry, Backstreet Boys, Noah Cyrus, Miley Cyrus, Maroon 5, and many more.

The show will kick off with a pre-Village spectacular starring Olivia Holt, Aaron Carter, Jordan Fisher, Noah Cyrus, Ocean Park Standoff, and Hey Violet. For tickets and information, head over to KIIS FM here.
