Chrissy Teigen and John Legend's 11-month-old daughter, Luna, has caught the attention of the most prestigious Ivy League school in the nation: Harvard. After Teigen shared an Instagram video of Luna saying her first word "cat" during a family trip in Morocco, Harvard University reached out to the family and offered Luna an early admittance to join the freshman class of 2034.
"After our administration saw that Luna's first word was 'cat,' the deans had a staff meeting and decided to reach out to the family and offer an early acceptance to Luna," Easton Bingham, Dean of Admissions, said at a press conference held in front of the Harvard Memorial Church. "Harvard prides itself as a university who admits the brightest and talented movers and shakers of the world, and our faculty sees so much potential in Luna."
Bingham went on to note that Luna's first word is far more advanced than other babies whose first words are the predictable "mama" or "dada" between 11 and 14 months of age.
"It is no surprise that Luna's speech is far more advanced than babies her age, considering her dad is the velvet-voiced John Legend, and her mother, Chrissy Teigen, is an eloquent Lip Sync Battle host and Twitter maven," Bingham added.
John and Chrissy have yet to respond to Harvard's offer.
