Keanu Reeves will reprise his role as the dog-loving assassin in John Wick: Chapter 2, the sequel to the surprise 2014 action hit from Lionsgate.
In the latest installment, Wick is forced out of retirement and returns to the criminal underworld to repay a debt, only to discover that a large bounty has been put on his life. Chad Stahelski directs the follow-up, and Bridget Moynahan, Ian McShane, Laurence Fishburne, and John Leguizamo will star in the film. Common will also join the cast as the chief villain, Cassian.
"It was really great to work with [Common]. He's a great artist and he committed to John Wick action, too," Reeves told On Air with Ryan Seacrest on Friday. "He put the hours in, he put the time in, and I think you see it on the screen. He and I actually have a couple fights in the film and John Wick action is no joke. He took it serious and it was really fun."
The film hits theaters today.
