For Ashley Tisdale's latest installment of her ongoing YouTube series "Music Sessions," the former Disney Channel star and her husband Christopher French tried their hand at Britney Spears' 2003 release, "Toxic."
"I am so excited! I grew up listening to Britney Spears [and] 'Toxic' is one of my favorite songs, and so I'm really excited for you guys to hear this," Tisdale said in the opening.
For the intimate performance, Tisdale delivered the verses with her disarming vocals, while French provided backup vocals and reworked the song's frenzied pop production with his acoustic guitar.
Music Sessions is part of Tisdale's YouTube series where she invites friends to collaborate and play music in her backyard. New videos are uploaded to the channel every Tuesday. In the past, Tisdale and French celebrated their two-year anniversary by covering Paramore's "Still Into You," and Tisdale recruited her High School Musical costar and best friend, Vanessa Hudgens, for "Ex's & Oh's."
