Sofía Vergara traded the glitz and glamour of the Emmys for a night in the emergency room.
The Griselda star revealed that she was forced to miss attending the 2025 Emmy Awards on Sunday (September 14) due to what she deemed the "craziest" eye allergy right before the show.
Vergara took to her Instagram on Sunday to share a photo of her in soft glam makeup except for one of her eyes, which appeared extremely irritated and half closed. She also included a couple videos taken in the emergency room, one of her lying on a hospital bed as someone off screen asked "are you OK?" and another of her standing over a sink and rinsing out her eye.
"Didnt make it to the Emmys but made it to the ER 🤣😩 sorry I had to cancel!" she captioned the pics. "Craziest eye allergie right before getting in the car! 🤣🤣
According to People, the Modern Family alum, who had many well-wishers in the comments both fans and famous alike, was scheduled to present at the Emmys on Sunday night, joining the list of other celebrities who took the stage during the event honoring the best TV shows and performances of the year.
